We know how special your jewelry is...
To keep the characteristics of your jewelry unchanged, we recommend the following care: Avoid contact with fresh or salt water, products or chemical substances that can discolor or stain your jewelry. Do not wear your jewelry while washing your hands, bathing, sleeping or playing sports.
Avoid subjecting your jewelry to strong or continuous contact that could cause friction and scratch or deform it. Keep in mind that sweat and skin pH can influence the change or loss of color of your jewelry.
When placed together, precious stones can scratch or damage each other. Store your jewelry separately, using the Joalheria do Carmo velvet bag to protect it. Silver changes color over time due to oxidation, which can result in the darkening of the jewelry, without affecting its quality.
Clean your jewelry gently with a chemical-free silver cleaning cloth to restore shine and remove minor tarnish. You can also use a soft, damp cloth or a soft toothbrush. In the case of gold-plated silver jewelry, we recommend cleaning with a soft, dry cloth.

Joalharia do Carmo jewelry is made in Portugal, with 925 sterling silver, 925 silver with gold plating or 19.2 carat gold.
The INCM provides this guarantee by checking the legal touch (precious metal per thousand contained in an alloy) and applying a hallmark with the responsibility mark, manufacturer's mark or equivalent.

They are in 925 silver or 19.2k gold, unless otherwise stated. the buyer may, in case of doubt about the authenticity of the marks, use the services of assay offices for verification.
